WARRANTY.
Lighting of London – Lifetime Ownership Warranty .
Lighting of London is committed to delivering high-quality products designed for long-term reliability. Our rigorous engineering and testing processes ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
Unless otherwise stated, Lighting of London provides a lifetime warranty on its products from the date of purchase for the duration of ownership by the original purchaser. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in design, materials, and workmanship.
Warranty Coverage .
Under this warranty, Lighting of London will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any product that is confirmed to be defective due to a manufacturing fault.
To qualify for warranty service, the following conditions must be met:
The defect must be reported within two (2) months of discovery.
Lighting of London must be notified in writing of the alleged defect.
Proof of purchase must be provided.
The defect must be confirmed by Lighting of London as resulting from faulty design, materials, or workmanship.
The product, or defective parts thereof, must be returned to Lighting of London for inspection.
Return shipping risk remains with the customer.
Return shipping costs will be covered by Lighting of London where the claim is validated.
Exclusions .
This warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:
Failure to follow Lighting of London’s written or verbal instructions regarding installation, storage, use, or maintenance, or failure to follow accepted industry practices.
Damage caused during installation.
Use of non-approved spare parts or materials not supplied by Lighting of London.
Products that have been modified or repaired without prior written consent from Lighting of London.
Damage resulting from fair wear and tear, misuse, negligence, wilful damage, or abnormal storage or operating conditions.
Changes to products made by Lighting of London to comply with statutory or regulatory requirements.
Components supplied by third parties, including but not limited to bulbs, drivers, or electrical components, incorporated into the product.
Electrical installations that do not comply with applicable electrical or industry regulations.
Damage resulting from accidents, environmental factors, or force majeure events, including but not limited to lightning, flooding, fire, extreme weather conditions, or other external environmental impacts.
Damage caused during transportation.
Normal performance degradation or failure of lamps or control gear within expected operational lifetime limits.
Use of products in coastal environments where the product specification states that it is unsuitable for such conditions.
- Our range of drivers and LED tape – these have a warranty period of 3 years.
Product Replacement .
If Lighting of London determines that a product requires replacement and the original model is no longer available, Lighting of London reserves the right to replace it with a product of similar specification and performance. Due to ongoing developments in LED component technology, identical replacements may not always be possible.
Limitations of Liability .
Lighting of London shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including damage to persons, animals, or property, resulting from failure to follow installation, operation, or maintenance instructions.
